Kofi Adams: I won't disappoint Ghanaians in my role as Sports Minister

Kofi Adams, has assured Ghanaians that he will not disappoint if approved for the position.The Member of Parliament for Buem appeared before the Appointments Committee of Parliament on Thursday, January 30, where he acknowledged his lack of a direct background in sports but expressed his commitment to making a positive impact.The majority are very happy I have been nominated. I will not disappoint Ghanaians, I wont disappoint President John Dramani Mahama, and I wont disappoint myself, Mr. Adams stated during his vetting.He further pledged to prioritise the maintenance of the countrys sporting facilities, stressing that none would be left to deteriorate to the point of being unusable.We wont allow facilities to deteriorate to the point that we will be banned from using them. We will improve on maintenance culture to ensure our facilities are always in good condition, he emphasised.After his vetting on Thursday, Mr. Adams will be hoping to secure approval from the Appointments Committee to work as Minister for Sports and Recreation as appointed by President John Dramani Mahama.
