The Red Cross Society of China has provided 50,000 U.S. dollars to the Ghana Red Cross Society to fight the cholera outbreak which has killed over 100 people in the country.

Accra -The Chinese government has provided more than 500 government scholarships to Ghanaian students since 1984, Chinese Ambassador to Ghana Sun Baohong said Thursday.

Accra -Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama is billed to chair this year's China-Africa Local Government Cooperation forum scheduled in Beijing from August 27 to 28, the state-run Ghana News Agency reported Wednesday.
