The government is expected to lose an estimated GH? 308.30 million in revenue as a result of the reduction in the Energy Sector Levies. The government has reduced the retail price of fertiliser from GH¢85 to GH¢54 to boost crop production in the country, the Minister of Food and Agriculture, Dr Owusu Afriyie Akoto, has said. The Western Region police have arrested 50 residents of Ekpu in the Half-Asini District during a dawn swoop Tuesday, led by the Regional Police Commander, DCOP Kwasi Mensah-Duku.
