There was a fire outbreak at the Avenor branch warehouse of Ashfoam in Accra on Monday.
According to a supervisor, they received a distress call that fire had engulfed the building so they alerted the fire service.
The Public Relations Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service, Mr Billy Anaglate said accessibility was a problem in battling the fire alongside a lot of combustible material which were in the warehouse.
He said they were able to prevent the fire from spreading to other areas.
Officials from the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) later visited the incident scene to assess the situation.
