The queen mother of Nsawam, Nana Awo Yaa Amankwah I, has installed the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as Ntentankesehene to wit Chief of the Internet or web.
This was done as part of Dr Bawumia’s tour of the Nsawam Adoagyiri constituency.
The NPP flagbearer was received by the party faithful who marched through some principal streets in Nsawam.
The team was then escorted to the Nsawam palace.
The enstoolment according to Nana Awo Yaa Amankwah I is in recognition of Dr. Bawumia’s efforts in the government’s digitalisation drive.
Meanwhile the Chief of Nsawam, Nana Kwame Ansah I described the visit as historic.
“I thank God for bringing Bawumia to my palace today. It’s historic for the people of Nsawam, portraying his knowledge in tradition and customers. I’m very grateful. I believe his digitisation agenda shall come to pass, hence we install him as ‘Ntentankesehene.”
