The Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS), the third oldest secondary school in the country, will on this Saturday commemorate its 109th anniversary.
The four-day event to begin from Thursday November 22 to Sunday November 25, will be celebrated under the theme, 'Providing holistic education - The role of stakeholders.'
As part of activities for the event the GSTS Alumni Association would host a fundraising dinner dance in aid of efforts to improve on the school's deteriorating infrastructure.
While raising funds to support the provision of critical infrastructure to upgrade its alma mater, the occasion would reunite and rekindle friends and old friends.
The Chairman for the occasion would be Giant Professor Samuel K. Asiedu '81'83 group and the guest speaker for the occasion Giant Professor John Eminah, PhD '70'72.
The Special Guest of Honour would be the Western Regional Minister Dr. Kwaku Afriyie. Other special guests to be in attendance are Lt. Gen. Obed Akwa, Chief of Defence Staff, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, and Deputy Minister of Education among others.
