
The Upper East Regional Executive Committee of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has congratulated Dominic Anarigide on his appointment as Managing Director of the Irrigation Company of Upper Region (ICOUR) in Navrongo.
Anarigide, who previously served as Deputy Constituency Secretary for Navrongo, brings a wealth of experience to his new role.
The NDC has expressed confidence that his leadership will ensure the effective management of irrigation systems, boost agricultural productivity, and drive economic growth in the region.
His appointment follows recent tensions at ICOUR, where workers and farmers protested against the leadership style of the previous Managing Director, Dr. Bonaventure Aligebam, calling for his immediate removal.
The NDC has praised the appointing authority for selecting a competent individual to lead the company in a strategic direction for national development.
