NPP dumbfounded by details of 2025 Budget – Sammy Gyamfi

Acting Managing Director of Precious Minerals Marketing Company (PMMC), Sammy Gyamfi has said the details of the 2025 Budget presented by the finance minister has left members of the New Patriotic Party in shock.

In an excusive interview with TV3 on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, Sammy Gyamfi explained that the NDC’s commitment to deliver on its campaign promises in the 2025 Budget has silenced the opposition members, who he says are now engaging in theatrics.

“They are completely dumbfounded by the details of this budget. They have been silenced but you see they just want to put up some theatrics to ginger their party base.

“They could not believe that the NDC could introduce these far-reaching policies and fulfill, almost 99.9% of our promises in the first 120 days social contract,” he said.

He noted that no budget has responded to the needs and aspirations of Ghanaians like the 2025 budget of the Mahama administration.

“I have never seen a budget respond to the needs and aspirations of the people, respect the social contract between the government and the people, a budget resonates with needs and aspirations of the people of Ghana like the 2025 budget that the NDC-Mahama government has done,” Sammy Gyamfi remarked.

According to him, the details of the 2025 budget has restored trust, hope and depleted the negative perception about politicians not delivering on their campaign promises.

“Yesterday, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama demonstrated that all politicians are not the same and that there are still men of integrity in politics,” he added.
