The Minister for Finance, Dr Mohammed Amin Adam has expressed appreciation to the ESLA Working Group for their continued collaboration which saw the timely delivery of Energy Sector Levies and Accounts (ESLA), reports.
“I am impressed with the level of quality of work on the report”, he added.
He made these comments in his closing remarks at a workshop to review and validate the 2023 ESLA Report.
The Minister further added that the briefing he received from the team would go long way to shape his contribution to the ESLA debates in Parliament.
The ESLA Working Group is made up of representatives from Ministries of Finance and Energy, Controller and Accountant General’s Department, National Petroleum Authority, Energy Fund, Road Fund, Electricity Corporation of Ghana, ESLA PLC, and Ghana Revenue Authority.
Present at the meeting were Director for Budget, Mr. Isaac Fraikue, Chief Cashier at Controller and Accountant Generals Department, and the Chairperson of the ESLA Working Group, Ms. Yaa Asantewaa Asante.
