One question all Ghanaians must be asking today is, why is God allowing calamities, disasters and tragic deaths to befall this country?
Every end of year, some prophets will read out a long list of disasters to be encountered in the coming year. But nothing on peace and progress. Has Ghana committed an eternal sin? What we have done against God that He is not prepared to forgive us? Has He not found at least ten righteous people in Ghana, that He is about to send down sulphur, fire and brimstone on us, as He did to Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 18:32)?
But how come these prophecies come from prophets who lack the virtues to be qualified to be called people of God the Most High? They all lack the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5: 22-23), and that makes them false prophets. For example, they lack humility, for they are so proud and arrogant. They lack peace, because their conducts sometimes generate into quarrels and threats of war. And they lack self-control, because they cannot restrain their desires.
The qualities of a true servant of God can be found in the fruits of the Spirit, which are used to text the spirit. Satan can exhibit things similar to the gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12: 7-11), to convince people that it is God’s works. With wisdom and knowledge, Satan is above man. He can use these to influence man to do his bid as happened in the Garden of Eden, when he cleverly influenced Eve to go against God (Genesis 3: 4-5). If Eve were to be wiser, she would have known what Satan was truly about.
Satan has enough knowledge of the Scriptures and through his false prophets he can quote the Bible to convince men to do his bid, thinking they are doing the bid of God. If Satan used Scriptures in his attempt to tempt Jesus, what can’t he do with the Bible verses to tempt man? In Matthew 4:6, he used Psalm 91: 11-12, to convince Jesus to jump from the top of the temple, but Jesus proving that God is the wisest, countered this in Matthew 4:7, with Deuteronomy 6:16.
Satan can also heal as evident in fetish shrines, but always at a cost. People who received such services, end up paying high prices like selling their souls to Satan.
Satan can fulfil the desires of man, by working miracles, and with the prophecies, he can make his false prophets come out and prophesy an event, and he would make it happen, and a prophecy has been fulfilled.
The truth is, in Ghana today, as Pastor Mensah Otabil said, about 95% of those parading around as prophets, are fake. In fact, they are satanic prophets. Do we not hear from some fetish priests that some persons of God come to their shrines to obtain powers to grow their congregation? And has any of these men of God mentioned come out to challenge those fetish priests?
Lies are always told us by these prophets. There was this case of a prophet in Kumasi, who would take pictures of obituary posters and post them on his social media page, and pronounce the one behind the death of that person. His luck run out when he posted the obituary of a young nurse, accusing her mother for her death. The grieving old lady took him on and now he is in the hands of the law.
The celebrated Prophet Owusu Bempah, on December 31, 2018, prophesied that the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, was going to die in 2019, the year the Muslim cleric would turn 100 years old. The Muslim youth trooped to his church, in the way they know best, to be seek clarification of that Christian prophecy.
The fake prophet fled for his life and sought refuge in the arms of the sheikh he prophesied was going to die. He begun with a solemn apology and then went on to make statements which implied that God had it all wrong and did not know what He was talking about. Today, by the grace, mercy and love of God, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu is blessed and he is 106 years old. It truly means that the sheikh is a man after God’s heart.
After telling the world that God is not in control of what He says, why should Isaac Owusu Bempah continue prophesying?
He told us in 2020 that God had declared that there was no way H.E. John Mahama would become president again. Then four years later, looking at projections and where the political pendulum was swinging to, he came back to say, God is on John Mahama’s side and He had chosen him to become president, again.
Recently, after the helicopter crash, Isaac Owusu Bempah came to say, that God revealed it to him and he decided to contact the president and some government officials, so that they set aside this disaster. Ridiculous! As a prophet, why couldn’t He plead with God to prevent that crash, like Moses who in Exodus 32: 11-14, pleaded with God to forgive the Israelites? Knowing very well he would not be granted audience, he set the path for Satan’s prophecy Satan, to come to pass, so that he can blame the authority and create division between government and people.
Satan will always want to put fear in man to make us succumb to him, that’s why all his prophecies are of doom. And once a disaster like the August 6 helicopter crash occurs, these false prophets will come out to lay claim that God had revealed that to them.
First Prophet Roja, claimed he had an information about Dr. Omane Boamah and instead of him going to the minister, he asked that the minister should be instructed to come and see him. Then he warned of another disaster on August 9, 2025. That day came but nothing happened.
Then Nigel Gaisie, the man of God who attempted raping Mzbel, also claimed he saw a vision of a plane crashing. Prophet Eric (Boahen) Boaten-Uche, said he saw many seats in Parliament becoming vacant, with a plane crashing in the month of August. And Prophet Nana Kwame also claimed he saw an aircraft crashing in this month of August.
This should tell us something and it is most important for true Christians in Ghana to wake up, for Christ and Christianity is made mockery of, here. We have allowed the devil and demons to take over this country.
A dark cloud has covered our land and only true Christians can pray to God and ask Him to disperse it. Satan is manipulating things in Ghana through these fake prophets.
I agree with Apostle Abraham Lincoln Larbi, that Prophet Roja is a sorcerer and through sorcery he manipulated natural forces and energy to achieve the disastrous result of crashing a helicopter. This is what those fake prophets who form 95% of prophets in our land are doing.
The Ghana Catholic Bishops Conference, the Christian Council of Ghana and the Pentecostal/Charismatic group of churches must know that Christ and Christianity are made mockery of and it is their responsibility to organise prayer sections and prayer warriors to pray against this. They must organised groups of prayer warriors who will pray 24/7 for weeks, months or years to break this stranglehold of Satan, for it is only through prayers, fasting and reparations, that this can be achieved. Catholics must not forget the Holy Rosary, the prayer that scares Satan. And include other prayer sections like the Siege of Jericho.
Government’s intention to have prophets to first submit their prophecies for examination is not the best solution. These false prophets will not submit anything and when any disaster strikes, they will blame government for not allowing them to reveal it. What government should do is to push a bill through Parliament to be enacted into law, that will ban all such freelance churches from operating. Only the original churches under Christian organisations must be recognised and this can put an end to sorcery. Prophet Owusu Bempah and his like can join the churches or become fetish priests.
Today as Dr. Omane Boamah and Peter Anala (both Catholics), Samuel Sarpong, Samuel Aboagye, Mane-Twum Ampadu and Ernest Addo Mensah are laid to rest, may their souls rest in peace and may their families have divine consolation.
May God bless Ghana and free the nation from Satan’s grip, for Ghana needs deliverance. Blessed be Jesus in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar. Amen!
