The fixtures for the round of 16 at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Morocco have been confirmed following an exciting group stage that showcased the depth and quality of African football.
The knockout phase will run from Saturday, January 3 to Tuesday, January 6, with two matches scheduled each day. Kick-off times are set for 17:00 local time (16:00 GMT) and 20:00 local time (19:00 GMT), as the remaining teams battle for places in the quarter-finals.
The round of 16 begins on Saturday with 2021 champions Senegal facing Sudan at the Grand Stade de Tangier, before Mali take on Tunisia later in the evening in Casablanca.
Hosts Morocco will be in action on Sunday, January 4, when they face Tanzania at the Stade Prince Moulay Abdellah in Rabat. Later that night, South Africa meet Cameroon in a high-profile clash that sees coach Hugo Broos come up against the side he guided to the title in 2017.
On Monday, record champions Egypt play Benin in Agadir, while Nigeria face Mozambique in Fès. The round concludes on Tuesday with Algeria against DR Congo, before defending champions Côte d’Ivoire take on Burkina Faso in Marrakech.
The quarter-finals will be played on January 9 and 10, with the final scheduled for January 18 in Rabat.
