Garment manufacturing giant Dignity DTRT hosted Ghana’s senior women’s national team, the Black Queens, at their headquarters following the team’s emphatic 7-0 aggregate victory over Egypt in the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifiers.
The event, held on Tuesday evening, marked another milestone in Dignity DTRT’s ongoing partnership with the Black Queens. Over the past two years, the company has been a strong supporter of women’s football, demonstrating a consistent commitment to empowering female athletes and promoting gender equality in sports.
The Queens were treated to a grand reception upon arrival, complete with a red-carpet welcome, cultural performances, and thunderous applause from staff and management. Dignity DTRT Managing Director, Salma Salifu, praised the team for their hard work and resilience, commending their achievement in qualifying for back-to-back WAFCON tournaments.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) was represented by Deputy General Secretary Ama Brobey Williams, Director of Marketing Jamil Maraby, Director of the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence Winifred Mawudeku, and Security Manager Felix Bewu. The delegation conveyed the GFA’s appreciation on behalf of President Kurt Okraku for Dignity DTRT’s invaluable support.
