The Black Stars have expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the people of Ghana for their unwavering support throughout the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign.
Ghana secured their place at next summer’s tournament in Mexico, Canada, and the United States with a 1-0 victory over Comoros on Sunday, finishing as Group I winners with 25 points. The team concluded the qualifiers with eight wins, one draw, and one loss, topping the group by a comfortable six-point margin.
The Black Stars displayed exceptional consistency, winning all five home fixtures and claiming three victories on the road. Their only setbacks came in an away defeat to Comoros and a draw against Chad in N’Djamena.
Ghana will learn their group opponents on December 5, 2025, when the World Cup draw is held in Washington, D.C.
