Bibiani Gold Stars coach Nana Yaw Amankwah faces a tough test this weekend as four key players are set to miss their Ghana Premier League clash against Vision FC on Saturday, October 11.
Gold Stars, who currently sit 8th on the table with six points from three games, will have to dig deep to maintain their strong start to the season. Their opponents, Vision FC, occupy 11th place with five points, making this a crucial mid-table battle.
Speaking to Gold Stars TV, Coach Amankwah confirmed the team’s growing injury list: “According to the doctors if you look at Michael Nkoah he got injured (in the Kotoko game) and was substituted, Emmanuel Agyei too his leg is a little dicey, and Sampson Eduku he is also been looked at by the doctors. So these three players and yesterday also when we were training Samuel Acheampong too his leg he was complaining yesterday after training. These are what we are looking at that can bring changes in the team.”
The coach remains hopeful his side can overcome the setback.
