
The Black Stars are set to leave Casablanca today, October 7, for Meknes ahead of their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier against the Central African Republic.
The team has been camping in Casablanca since Sunday, fine-tuning preparations for the Matchday 9 encounter in the qualification series.
Training sessions have been held at the Mohammed V Sports Complex, with 20 players taking part in Monday’s workout under the guidance of head coach Otto Addo and his technical team.
Ghana will take on the Central African Republic at the Stade d’Honneur de Meknes on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. The game is scheduled to kick off at 16:00 GMT.
The Black Stars currently top Group I with 19 points and remain on course for a fifth appearance at the global showpiece, having previously featured at the 2006, 2010, 2014, and 2022 editions held in Germany, South Africa, Brazil, and Qatar, respectively.
