
Ghana’s U-17 coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has expressed confidence in his team’s chances as they prepare to face Togo in their opening fixture of the 2025 WAFU Zone B U-17 Championship.
The match is set for later today at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium in Yamoussoukro, Ivory Coast, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00 GMT.
Speaking to the Ghana Football Association’s official website, the former Asante Kotoko manager commended his players for their commitment and attitude during preparations.
"The boys have responded very well to our training programs and look focused," Narteh Ogum said. "We’re confident about our chances against Togo,” he added.
The Black Starlets are targeting a strong start as they chase qualification for the 2025 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) through the regional tournament.
