Walid Neymar Fuseini says joining Asante Kotoko represents the fulfilment of a long-held ambition, describing the move as a dream come true given the club’s pedigree in Ghanaian and African football.
The 25-year-old midfielder completed his medical before signing a three-year deal with the Porcupine Warriors, arriving on a free transfer following the collapse of Nsoatreman.
Fuseini brings versatility to Kotoko’s midfield, having demonstrated the ability to play centrally, in advanced roles, or operate effectively from the right.
Speaking to Kotoko media, the midfielder underlined his eagerness to contribute immediately.
“This is the moment I’ve been waiting for. Playing for a club of Kotoko’s stature is a dream, and I believe my qualities can have a real impact here," Fuseini said.
Over the course of his Ghana Premier League career, Fuseini has amassed 81 appearances and also featured in four CAF Confederation Cup matches, underscoring his capacity to compete at both domestic and continental levels.
His professional journey began with Bolga All Stars, where he quickly made a name as a technically adept and dynamic player before moving on to establish himself as one of the league’s consistent performers.
