
Ghanaian forward Edmund Baidoo delivered a standout performance to help Red Bull Salzburg secure victory over LASK in the Austrian Bundesliga.
The 19-year-old attacker made substitute appearances at the Red Bull Arena as his outfit cruised to an emphatic 3-0 home win over LASK on Saturday. Baidoo was introduced in the 70th-minute mark, replacing Petar Ratkov in the high-stake clash.
Salzburg dominated the first half of the match, netting two crucial goals to take a comfortable lead in the game. Mali international Soumaila Diabate opened the scoring in the 24th-minute before Petar Ratkov doubled the lead for the home team as they went to the break with a solid advantage.
Baidoo put the icing on the cake, scoring in the 83rd-minute to seal a resounding victory for Salzburg.
The Ghanaian youngster has made three appearances in the Austrian Bundesliga this season, scoring one goal and providing an assist across the period.
