
Ghana international Ibrahim Sadiq was on the scoresheet for AZ Alkmaar on Thursday evening, inspiring the team to defeat Levski Sofia 2-0 in the Europa Conference League.
The forward started in attack for his Dutch outfit today in the first leg of the Conference League final playoff round.
He scored in the 56th minute after an assist from Isak Jensen to open the scoring for AZ Alkmaar after a goalless first half.
Later in the 62nd minute, in-form Troy Parrot also got his name on the scoresheet, sealing the 2-0 victory for the Dutch Eredivisie club.
Ibrahim Sadiq, 25, lasted the entire duration of the game, making it two goals in two matches after scoring today.
Since debuting for AZ Alkmaar in September 2023, Sadiq has scored more headed goals than any other player in the team.
He is gradually growing to become a key player for the Dutch side and will be hoping to score and provide more assists in the ongoing 2025/26 football season.
