The Ghana Football Association has confirmed the retention of Alhaji Abu Hassan as Chairman of the Black Satellites Management Committee.
Alhaji Abu Hassan, who also chairs the Northern Regional Football Association, will continue to lead the U-20 national team’s management structure as preparations intensify for upcoming international assignments.
He will be supported by Eastern Regional FA Chairman Linford Asamoah, who has been appointed Vice Chairman. The leadership team is expected to provide solid administrative backing and direction for the growth and success of the Black Satellites.
Other members of the committee include Nations FC President Devine Kyei, Swedru All Blacks President Stephen Atto Quayson, and Hearts of Oak management member Alhaji Braimah Akambi. Their combined expertise in both regional and club football administration is seen as a valuable addition to the team’s development.
The FA’s decision to retain Alhaji Abu Hassan underscores confidence in his leadership, having previously steered the committee with stability and commitment. His continued role is aimed at driving continuity and progress within the Black Satellites setup.
With both technical and management structures now firmly in place, the expectation is that the Black Satellites will work toward reclaiming their reputation as a powerhouse in youth football on the continent and beyond.
