B 93 earned a narrow but important 1-0 win over HB Køge on Tuesday evening at Capelli Sport Stadion, with Danish-Ghanaian midfielder Osman Addo playing a key part in the decisive moment.
The game was a battle of persistence, with B 93 enjoying more possession and chances but struggling to break down a disciplined Køge defense. Addo, who started and lasted 74 minutes, was heavily involved throughout, even though he had a tough night in duels, losing 10.
The breakthrough arrived in the 61st minute when Addo’s delivery from a corner found Adam Ahmad, who struck cleanly from outside the box into the bottom left corner. It was the only shot on target B 93 managed to convert, but it was enough to secure the win.
Køge fought hard until the final whistle, but their lack of attacking edge meant B 93’s lead was never seriously threatened.
With the victory, B 93 will now shift focus to their upcoming clash against Kolding IF on August 23.
