Hearts of Oak have completed the signing of center back Godwin Cudjoe from Mighty Jets, with the deal confirmed by the club’s media officer.
The versatile defender, who is capable of operating across multiple defensive roles, has put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Phobians after successfully passing his medical.
Cudjoe spent last season on loan at Great Olympics, where he impressed with his strong defensive displays and ability to adapt to different positions.
His performances caught the eye of Hearts of Oak, who have been on the lookout for reinforcements to solidify their backline ahead of the upcoming campaign.
The Phobians believe the acquisition of the 22-year-old will add both quality and depth to their squad as they look to bounce back strongly in the Ghana Premier League.
Cudjoe’s arrival also fits into the club’s rebuilding project, which has seen Hearts of Oak focus on signing young but experienced talents capable of making an immediate impact while also providing long-term value.
The defender now becomes one of the key additions expected to play a crucial role in the Phobians’ quest to reclaim their dominance in Ghana football.
