Veteran Ghanaian coach Joseph Emmanuel Sarpong has sent a heartfelt message to Accra Hearts of Oak’s new coach, Didi Dramani, urging him to stand firm and keep his focus on the job ahead.
Sarpong, who has coached some of Ghana’s biggest clubs, believes the Hearts job demands more than just technical skill. He says it requires boldness, independence, and the ability to make tough decisions without interference.
According to him, Didi Dramani shouldn't let anybody dictate to him, he shouldn't let anybody tell him what player to play or what tactics to use.
"He should stay focus Hearts of Oak if you are a coach and don't have the courage you can't coach Hearts of Oak, you can't coach Kotoko, you can't coach Olympics, you can't coach Okawhu United," as aired by Happy FM
"So If you are a coach you have get that boldness of course, suggestions will have to come left and right. Sometimes the good ones you take them if someone comes to you and say play this player the you do it no then you are a bad coach.
"What you are doing do it if doesn't work then you call it quits when I was coaching if I am doing something and you interfere I will leave your team for you,"
