Bayern Munich is showing real trust in young Swedish-Ghanaian striker Jonah Kusi-Asare as they prepare for the new season.
The 18-year-old has been told by club officials that he will stay in the first team and serve as one of Harry Kane’s backups. Any loan move is now off the table, with Bayern ready to reject interest from clubs in Germany and abroad.
The club’s commitment goes beyond this season. Kusi-Asare’s current deal runs until 2026, but Bayern wants to tie him down for even longer. Talks over a new contract have already started, showing how highly the record champions rate his potential.
Kusi-Asare impressed during preseason under coach Vincent Kompany, even finding the net in a friendly against Grasshopper Club Zurich. His technical skill, physical presence, and composure in front of goal have marked him as a talent to watch.
While Bayern may still look to add attacking depth, Kusi-Asare’s place in the squad is secure. The teenager could see more competitive action in the famous Bavarian shirt in the coming campaign.
