Ghana will compete in the FIFAe Finals 2025, joining more than 90 nations in what FIFA describes as the largest national team-based esports competition in its history.
The finals, scheduled for 10â19 December in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will feature three major titles: eFootball Mobile, eFootball Console, and Rocket League. Each competition will bring together the best national teams from around the world after a series of Regional Online Qualifiers in September and October.
For Ghana, the journey begins with domestic trials to select players who will represent the country in the qualifiers. Only the top nations from each region will advance to the finals, where 12 countries will contest each of the eFootball events and 16 will battle in Rocket League.
FIFA says the record participation reflects the growing global footprint of football esports, with more Member Associations embracing competitive gaming as part of their sporting agenda.
Ghana’s inclusion adds to the country’s presence on the international esports stage and offers another opportunity for its players to showcase their skills at the highest level.
