Former Ghana youth international Aminu Mohammed says his main aim this season is to score goals, help his teammates, and earn his first senior national team call-up.
“This season, I just want to score as many goals as I can, work hard for my teammates, and hopefully earn a call-up to the Black Stars,” the 24-year-old told the club’s media after sealing a move to Bechem United.
The versatile forward, who previously featured for WAFA and had stints with Manchester City’s youth team as well as clubs in Austria, England, the Netherlands, and Belgium, joins the Hunters as a free agent.
Mohammed has been training with Bechem in recent weeks and impressed the technical team during pre-season. His arrival is expected to bolster the team’s attack ahead of the new Ghana Premier League season as they seek to improve on last season’s 10th-place finish.
The former Black Starlets winger was part of Ghana’s squad at the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup in India.
