Former Black Stars forward Prince Tagoe has backed ex-Manchester City wonderkid Aminu Mohammed to succeed following his return to the Ghana Premier League.
Mohammed signed for Bechem United after an unsuccessful stint in England with the Manchester club.
During his four-year spell at City, Aminu spent most of his time on loan where he featured for Nac Breda, FC Dordretch and Lommel SK.
He was eventually released in 2022 and has since not played competitive football until inking a deal with the Hunters as he looks set for a fresh start.
Following his signing, the 24-year-old took to social media to share images of his unveiling which prompted a response from Tagoe, a Ghana Premier League great.
He posted: "Nothing is too late son. Congratulation and good luck."
Tagoe's words are expected to inspire the once Ghanaian prospect ahead of the start of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League.
Mohammed has started training with the former Ghana FA Cup winners as he prepares for the upcoming campaign in Bechem.
The talented forward previously played for West Africa Football Academy in the Ghanaian top division.
He was also a member of the Ghana U17 team that last represented the country at the FIFA U17 World Cup in India 2017.
