Bechem United new coach Stephen Desmond-Issah Botchway is confident about his outfit chances ahead of the upcoming 2025/26 football campaign.
Prior to the new season, the Hunters has made significant changes to their technical team, with the former Kotoku Royals manager taking over as the new head coach.
Botchway joins the Hunters on a two-year contract, replacing Kwaku Danso, who has elevated him to the role of the technical director at the club.
These changes reflect Bechem United’s ambition of making impact in the Ghanaian top-flight next season. With these changes, fans and analyst will be closely watching how the new technical team will fare in the 2025/26 season, which begins in September.
And speaking to the club’s media, Botchway emphasized his outfit will go far in the upcoming campaign.
“I’ve been made to know that, all the players are not in yet, we are left with one or two players to come in but so far so good, the ones I have been working with are doing very well” he said.
“I can see a lot of challenges in the game. The players are ready to give each other competition and with this kind of crop of players, I think we can go far next season, and we are ready to go far this year and make Bechem proud” he added.
Bechem United will commence their Ghana Premier League campaign with an away clash against defending champions Bibiani Goldstars in September.
The 2025/26 Ghana Premier League will kick off on the weekend of September 12.
