
Ghanaian forward Arvin Appiah has joined French Ligue 2 outfit Amiens in the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old Dutch-born England youth international signed a deal to join Amiens SC on a season-long loan from Almeria.
The highly-rated forward, who remains eligible to play for Ghana, is expected to gain regular game time and help Amiens achieve their goal of returning to Ligue 1.
"Amiens SC has officially announced the arrival of Arvin Appiah, a fast and impactful winger who trained at Nottingham Forest and has extensive experience playing in England, Spain, and Portugal. At 24, this England U19 international arrives in Picardy with over 150 professional appearances under his belt and the ambition to relaunch his career in a competitive environment, on loan for a season!" wrote Amiens.
Appiah has spent most of his time at Almeria on loan, featuring for CD Lugo, CD Tenerife, Málaga CF, Rotherham United in the English Championship, and more recently at CD Nacional in Portugal.
