Hearts of Oak could be set to bolster their midfield ranks with the addition of a familiar Ghana Premier League face, as former Asante Kotoko midfielder Shadrach Addo is currently training with the Phobians.
Club sources reveal that the youngster has joined the team’s sessions as Hearts of Oak assess his fitness and suitability ahead of a potential deal.
While no official agreement has been reached, insiders suggest that Addo’s presence in training is part of the club's evaluation process before deciding on a permanent move.
Shadrach Addo, who previously featured for Kotoko and earned praise for his energy and technical ability, has been without a club since parting ways with the Porcupine Warriors. A potential move to Accra could reignite his Premier League career and add depth to Hearts’ midfield options.
Hearts of Oak are in rebuilding mode following an underwhelming season and are actively monitoring several players as they prepare for the 2025/26 campaign
