Patrick Agyemang joins Championship side Derby County FC

Patrick Agyemang has completed a transfer to English Championship side Derby County, signing a four-year deal that keeps him at Pride Park until 2029.The 24-year-old forward joins from Major League Soccer club Charlotte FC for a reported fee of around $8 million plus add-ons. The deal marks a major step in Agyemangs fast-moving career, just two-and-a-half years after being drafted 12th overall in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft.His rise has been impressive. Patrick Agyemang scored 22 goals in 72 appearances across all competitions for Charlotte and earned five goals in 12 games with the U.S. Men's National Team.
