Black Queens midfielder Stella Nyamekye has shared her excitement after playing a pivotal role in Ghana's qualification to the quarter-final of the Women's Africa Cup of Nations.The former Black Princesses captain climbed off the bench to make a magnificent impact in the game, delivering an assist while also delivering the cross for Evelyn Badu's strike in the 4-1 win.The Gotham FC midfielder, who was making her first appearance at the tournament, needed only five minutes to impress coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren.I am very happy, it is not just about my performance but the total contribution from the entire team. They fought for the badge and made Ghana proud. I am really excited, she said after the game.When I was coming on, I told myself even if it is for only two minutes I will make use of it and that is what I did when I was coming on, she added.Princella Adubea opened the scoring for Ghana early in the game before Stumai Abdallah levelled for Tanzania. Alice Kusi restored Ghana's lead after the break with a penalty before goals from Evelyn Badu and Chantelle Hlorkah.The Black Queens will next face Algeria for a place in the semi-final of the tournament.
