Tottenham agree £55m deal with West Ham to sign Mohammed Kudus
Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a deal worth 55 million with West Ham United for the transfer of Ghana star Mohammed Kudus. The 24-year-old, who had an impressive debut season in the Premier League after joining West Ham from Ajax, struggled to maintain the same form in his second campaign. With limited impact in key games and a lack of consistency, Kudus has now decided to relaunch his career at Spurs a club that has shown strong belief in his potential.Although there were initial rumours linking him with a move to Chelsea, Tottenhams interest proved more concrete and consistent. The North London side made their intentions clear early in the summer and held direct talks with the player and his camp, ultimately convincing Kudus to make the switch. Spurs project and long-term plan under new manager Thomas Frank reportedly played a major role in winning him over.Kudus is expected in London on Thursday for medicals and will sign a six-year deal with Tottenham. The Ghana international ended last season with the highest number of completed dribbles across Europes top five leagues and remains one of the most talented African exports in European football. The move offers Kudus a fresh start and a bigger platform to rediscover his top form as he prepares for a new chapter in the Premier League.
