The July 31 programme brought together four mentors who addressed key topics affecting young Muslim girls. Miss Maryam Yakubu, who moderated the event, outlined MMN’s mission to empower Muslim women through education, faith and personal growth.
Miss Rahma Kabore spoke on the importance of education from an Islamic perspective, urging students to value continuous learning as a tool for personal and societal development.
Miss Mariam Tahir Ayuba led a session on menstruation awareness, encouraging girls to embrace natural bodily processes and observe proper cleanliness in line with Islamic teachings. Miss Rahma Saeed addressed personal hygiene, covering oral care, environmental cleanliness, and the link between hygiene and overall well-being.
The interactive event was well-received by both students and school authorities, who praised MMN’s continued commitment to youth empowerment.
