Private legal practitioner Thaddeus Sory has issued a scathing response to unnamed critics in a sharply worded piece titled “The Incongruous Cry Baby Again,” which many observers interpret as a pointed rebuttal to former Attorney General Godfred Dame.
Without directly naming Dame, Sory accused the so-called “Cry Baby” of hypocrisy and self-serving behaviour in response to recent public commentary on the composition of the legal team representing petitioners in the ongoing proceedings against the suspended Chief Justice.
Sory dismissed claims that his legal representation reflects partisan bias, citing a track record of defending individuals across the political spectrum, including members of both the NDC and NPP.
He described the criticisms as “incongruous” and “intimidating,” arguing that legal ethics, not political alignment, determine his clients.
Referring to past legal conduct and controversies surrounding the former AG’s tenure, Sory accused the unnamed official of eroding public trust in the judiciary, abusing legal processes, and disguising self-preservation as principle.
“Stop the tantrums… and don’t be silly,” Sory warned. “The next knock may not be a gentle tap. It will land like a sledgehammer.”
