Flashback
It will be recalled that the Denkyira Hemaa, Nana Ama Ayensua Saara III and the head of the Royal Agona Family of Denkyira, Nana Ponfo Agyeman II, formally declared the Denkyira Paramount Stool vacant in 2023.

The official declaration, which was in line with customs and tradition, followed the successful burial (D?te Yie) of the late Denkyira paramount chief, Odeefuo Boa Amponsam III, who was the 25th King of Denkyira.
She said, “Upon further deliberations and consultations with Abusuapanin Nana Ponfo Agyeman and Nananom, I wish to announce officially that the paramount stool is vacant.
In line with our tradition and custom, any royal who deems it fit to occupy the stool must, therefore, come forward”.
In the process, seven (7) people presented their “drinks” in line with tradition to be considered for the stool.
Panel
