Juventus have confirmed that Augusto Sedorf Owusu has signed a contract extension running until 30 June 2028, securing the future of the midfielder within the club’s Next Gen project.
The renewal reflects Juventus’ confidence in a player who has steadily progressed through its youth ranks and is preparing for another important season in senior football.
Owusu spent time with Juventus’ first-team group under Igor Tudor during the Club World Cup in the United States, an experience that gave him a close look at the demands of elite-level football. He will now begin his second campaign with Juventus Next Gen, the club’s reserve side competing in Italy’s professional system.
His first senior season in 2024-25 brought 21 appearances across the Serie C regular season, play-offs and Coppa Italia Serie C. Those outings represented a solid introduction to professional football and offered valuable experience for the midfielder.
Born in 2005, Owusu previously featured for Juventus Under-17s before a one-year loan at Reggiana’s Under-19 team in 2022-23. He returned to Turin for the Juventus Primavera, making 19 appearances and scoring once before his Next Gen promotion.
