Ghanaian striker Noah Baffoe scored as Lee Man FC beat Shatin 3-0 in the Hong Kong Premier League, with the home side taking control early and never letting go.
The result kept Lee Man top of the table after a confident all-round display.
Lee Man opened the scoring in the 15th minute through Dostonbek Tursunov, and Elian Villalobos doubled the lead five minutes later. Baffoe then made it 3-0 in the 56th minute, finishing off a strong team move and putting the result beyond doubt.
The goal was an important moment for Baffoe, who had earlier been booked in the first half but stayed involved and continued to offer a threat in attack. His strike also showed why Lee Man have trusted him in key matches this season.
Shatin struggled to respond after the break, while Lee Man managed the game well and made smart use of their lead. The win was built on early efficiency, solid defensive work and a front line that looked dangerous whenever it attacked.
Bozhidar Kraev was voted fan pick for the match, but Baffoe’s goal will also be remembered as one of the standout moments from Lee Man’s convincing victory.
