Asante Kotoko Director of Football Stanley Menzo is confident new signing Eric Gbetta can make a strong contribution as the Porcupine Warriors prepare for the 2026/27 season.
The 22-year-old Ivorian winger joined Kotoko on a free transfer from Omani side Al Wadah SC and has signed a two-year contract.
Gbetta becomes the fifth signing of Eric Tinkler’s tenure as the club continues to strengthen its squad ahead of the new campaign.
Menzo believes the winger’s qualities will add to the options available to the technical team.
“Eric is an exciting talent and we are delighted to have him join the club,” Menzo told the club’s media.
He added: “Most importantly, we are confident with him and the other players that we can achieve our target this season.”
Gbetta will now look to settle quickly into the squad and make an impact as Kotoko begin their preparations for the new campaign.
