Ghana’s Black Starlets have wrapped up preparations ahead of their crucial Group D clash against Senegal at the 2026 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Rabat.
The team heads into Sunday’s encounter searching for their first victory of the tournament after opening their campaign with a 2-2 draw against Algeria.
Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum and his technical staff supervised the final training session, with all players taking part fully and no injury concerns reported in camp.
The session focused on tactical work, transitions, defensive organisation and finishing as the technical team fine-tuned preparations for the meeting with the defending champions.
The players trained with intensity and determination as Ghana look to strengthen their chances of qualifying for the knockout stage and securing a place at the FIFA U-17 World Cup later this year.
The Black Starlets will be hoping to build on the positives from their opening game against Algeria, where they showed attacking quality and created several chances despite surrendering a two-goal lead.
Victory against Senegal would significantly improve Ghana’s position in Group D heading into the final round of matches.
