Asante Kotoko head coach Prince Yaw Owusu has disclosed that the team is full of confidence heading into their upcoming Ghana Premier League encounter against FC Samartex.
The Porcupine Warriors last weekend played against Aduana FC in a tough fixture played at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.
After drawing to pick a crucial point away from home, Prince Yaw Owusu insists that it gave his players a confidence boost ahead of their next game.
“Yeah, I think the draw against Aduana FC boosted our morale going into the game against FC Samartex,” the coach told AKSC TV.
To ensure victory in the next game, Prince Owusu further disclosed that his side has been working on improving their goal scoring this week.
“I think we've done a lot of them. We score a lot of goals, and the boys are still working on it. You know, to get better. When we meet Samartex, we have some drills for them today and tomorrow. I will prepare them for the game ahead of us,” the coach assured.
He added, “I'm wishing, and I'm asking the fans to do us a favour, to come to the pitch, to the field, to watch the game. It's Easter Monday, and it's a holiday, so they should come and then complete their holidays with us at the stadium."
The Ghana Premier League Week 27 fixture between Asante Kotoko and FC Samartex is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Monday, April 6.
