Head coach of Karela United Nurudeen Amadu has admitted to giants Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors triumphed over Karela United with a dominant 4-2 victory at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. Goals from Hubert Gyau, Joseph Ablorh and Peter Acquah Amidu were enough for the home team to secure the maximum points at stake.
At the post-match conference, the former Samartex 1996 tactician congratulated the Porcupine Warriors, insisting they were the better side in the match.
“We started the match slowly and conceded quick goals which were unpardonable. Congratulations to Kotoko because they were the better side, but we need to work hard as a team” he said.
Currently, Karela United find themselves on the seventh position on the Ghana Premier League standings, accumulating 12 points from eight appearances, while Kotoko sit eight spot with 11 points but are three matches behind due to their Africa campaign involvement.
