Head coach of Nations FC Stephen Frimpong Manso has set sights on leaving an indelible mark at Nations after landing a new job
Manso, who was recently dismissed by Bibiani Goldstars following their CAF Champions League qualification exit to JS Kabylie joins the Abrankese-based club on a two-year deal.
The veteran Ghanaian tactician replaces Kasim Ocansey Mingle after a sluggish start to the Premier League season. Manso now takes charge of a Nations FC side desperate to rediscover their spark.
Nations have managed just two wins from their opening seven league matches, prompting swift action from management.
However, the former Ghana international has vowed to leave a mark at Nations FC, having being a league contender in the past two seasons.
“Nations FC have been a league contender in the past two seasons. Just last season, the club missed out on the title to Bibiani Goldstars in the last two matches of the campaign. Their output in the league since gaining promotion justifies how serious the club is. We’ve come to do our part to make sure we leave a mark here” he told the club’s media.
Frimpong Manso’s appointment marks his latest return to top-flight management and presents an opportunity to reaffirm his credentials as one of Ghana’s most experienced coaches.
