Nii Odartey Lamptey has reportedly resigned as head coach of Eleven Wonders after a poor start to the 2025/2026 Ghana Premier League season.
The former Ghana international decided to step down following a run of disappointing results that has left the club without a win after seven matches and second from bottom.
Eleven Wonders have managed just two draws and suffered five defeats, struggling to find consistency both at home and away. Their campaign began with a 0-0 draw against Holy Stars, followed by a 1-4 home loss to Heart of Lions, and a 1-0 defeat to Hearts of Oak in Accra.
The team’s struggles continued with losses to Young Apostles, Samartex, and Nations FC, with only a goalless draw against Karela United offering brief respite.
Lamptey, who took charge with hopes of stabilising the team, departs after overseeing a difficult spell that leaves the club near the bottom of the table. Eleven Wonders are yet to release an official statement confirming his resignation or outlining plans for a new coach.
