Communications Director of Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo, says the team’s players were left disappointed after being held to a draw by Bibiani GoldStars in their Matchday 7 encounter.
The Phobians were forced to settle for a 2-2 stalemate with the defending champions at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Goals from Mawuli Wayo and George Paaku earned the Rainbow Club a share of the spoils after Kumi Attah struck twice for the Timber Boys.
Speaking on Asempa FM, Opare Addo described the result as a learning experience but admitted the squad felt unsatisfied.
"Drawing with Bibiani Gold Stars was a stepping stone for us to bounce back even stronger, although the players are not happy with the outcome of the game," he said.
The draw leaves Hearts of Oak in 6th place on the league table with 13 points. The Phobians will look to extend their unbeaten run when they visit Basake Holy Stars in their Matchday 8 fixture this weekend.
