Bechem United head coach Desmond-Issah Botchway has admitted that his team got everything wrong in their 2025/26 Ghana Premier League Week 7 clash against Karela United over the weekend.
The Hunters played away from home on Sunday and suffered a 2-0 defeat to Karela United at Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
Speaking after the match, Desmond-Issah Botchway expressed his disappointment with the result, admitting that his team made many mistakes.
“Honestly, we got it all wrong. The first half, especially, was sluggish. We allowed the opponent to play more; they attacked in their numbers, and we couldn’t do anything. We just got it wrong. We are getting so many things wrong, and it is disappointing,” the Bechem United coach said.
Desmond-Issah Botchway added, “We made a lot of mistakes. We have learnt a lot of lessons. We will not give up. We will keep working hard.”
Following the defeat to Karela United, Bechem United are now 14th in the Ghana Premier League table.
The Hunters will next play Nations FC in Week 8.
