The interim head coach of Bibiani Gold Stars, Nana Yaw Amankwah, has expressed his satisfaction with the team’s 2-2 draw against Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League.
The team from Bibiani laboured on Saturday afternoon to hold the Phobians to a pulsating draw at the Accra Sports Stadium in their Week 7 clash of the 2025/26 league campaign, ensuring that they secured a crucial point.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Nana Yaw Amankwah praised his players for a good performance away from home, adding that he is happy with the point.
“Our boys are now picking very well, and we know we are going to do well in this game and no wonder we did well.
“In the second half, we changed the strategy because we knew we could break them. We knew they were weak in the counterattack, and we took advantage of that,” the Gold Stars interim coach said.
The result today leaves Gold Stars in 4th place in the Ghana Premier League standings with 13 points. They are on the same points as Hearts of Oak in 6th place.
