Captain of Aduana Football Club, Alex Boakye, has expressed his excitement after helping the team to secure a narrow win against Dreams Football Club in the Ghana Premier League.
The defender started the Week 7 encounter of the 2025/26 league campaign on Saturday, and put up an outstanding performance for the Dormaa-based side to ensure the team kept a clean sheet en route to bagging all three points.
Speaking in his post-match interview, a buzzing Alex Boakye stressed that the win was possible because players went into the game determined to overcome Dreams FC.
“It was a tough game, but we showed character and stayed together till the end. We thank the supporters for always showing us support during our home matches. That always motivates us to fight for a win.
“We knew the match against Dreams FC was always going to be tough because they beat us 2-1 during the Nsenkyir Cup. We were determined to beat them by all means,” Alex Boakye said.
For his outstanding performance on the matchday, the Aduana FC captain was named Man of the Match (MoTM) after the game.
