Communications Director of Asante Kotoko, Sarfo Duku, has indicated that the team is determined to go to Morocco to defeat Wydad AC to advance in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Ghanaian giants are heading into the reverse fixture of the tie at a disadvantage, having lost the first leg by a goal to nil at the Accra Sports Stadium last weekend.
Speaking to Luv FM, Sarfo Duku noted that players are confident ahead of the match and will go all out to turn the game around.
Meanwhile, Duku, in another interview with Akoma FM on Wednesday, stated that the club is doing everything to motivate players.
According to him, a special package has been set aside for the players as a reward if they can eliminate Wydad AC to qualify for the next stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
“Just as we did for the players after they beat Kwara United, there’s a special qualification package in store for them â not only from the club but also from individual supporters â if they manage to qualify over Wydad in Morocco,” he said.
The second leg meeting between Wydad AC and Asante Kotoko will be played on Friday, October 24.
