United Arab Emirates outfit, Palm City, have set sights on securing the services of Italian international of Ghanaian descent Mario Balotelli.
The former Manchester City and Liverpool star is currently unattached following his departure from Italian side Genoa at the end of last season.
Balotelli struggled during his spell with Genoa last season, making only six appearances across competitions for the club, without registering a single goal or assist.
However, Palm City, who competes in the UAE second division has expressed firm interest in the 35-year-old striker. Having turned down a move to the Major League Soccer and Saudi Arabia, Balotelli appears to be ready for UAE move.
Balotelli continues to attract attention from fans and clubs worldwide, with Palm City emerging as a potential destination for the attacker.
His career has been packed with dazzling highlights and controversies, but remains as one of the revered forward in the game.
The 35-year-old has featured for a host of club’s across Europe including AC Milan, Inter Milan, Liverpool, Manchester City, Marseille and others.
